Melina is a public affairs and association management specialist, with cross sector experience in several European policies including health, financial services, food & beverage, green economy.
Prior to joining GRACE, Melina was an associate director at Instinctif Partner – EU affairs and communications consultancy – in Brussels. She was responsible for concept development and management of several multi-stakeholder platforms and associations; as well as planning and implementing tailor made advocacy and outreach campaigns. Melina started her career as an intern at European Investment Bank, gaining an in-depth understanding of the EU institutions and decision-making process.
She is an Italian national with a legal background and a specialisation in European and International Law from the University of Trieste. She holds an Executive Master`s degree in Communication and EU politics from the IHECS in Brussels.
Junior Alliance Manager
Prior to joining GRACE, Laura worked in the European Parliament, where she developed her knowledge on the work of several committees, the legislative process and European Institutions as a whole. Following this, she worked as Project and Policy Officer for The European Heat Pump Association, where she gained a good understanding of the legislation affecting heat pumps as well as EU funded projects.
Laura has a Master of Research in History from the University of Liverpool, as well as a BA in History and Archaeology. She is British and is currently learning to speak French.
